The dishwasher that saved my marriage

It's no secret that I hate doing dishes.  The problem is, so does Cory.  For a while, the rule was "if you didn't cook, then you have to do the dishes."  However, since we don't always cook every night, those nights without one of us cooking would turn into a who-did-dishes-last fight.

Then, the rule became that we'd alternate, every other time.  ( Read more... )

We don't have anywhere to put a regular dishwasher anyway. Besides, now we can take it with us when we move! Ah ha! I'm not leaving this here for the next relative to move in and ruin it.

You're so funny! But man, I totally agree. I just do the dishes all the time myself bc C. sucks at doing them and if he does them, I end up re-doing most of them.

Seb's Kitty had one of those in her Chicago apt. It sat on the counter-top.

I'd like to get one but we have NO counter space, which sucks. Guess I'll just have to wait for a new house :(

This one's good because it becomes it's own counter space. It's not a countertop model. We had a cart there, so I had to find storage space for the crap loads of tea and coffee stored on the cart.

I'll take a picture once the kitchen is finally back in order to post so you get the idea. You'll see how weird our kitchen is, too.
