Phase 2 Update

Coming from many generations of packrats, I find it very difficult to cut through the clutter. I will be sorting through stack of papers/junk and be making good progress, and then suddenly I will see something that I want to keep for nostalgic purposes. I've been able to curb that habit to a certain extent by taking pictures of the things that I'd like to remember but don't actually need the physical copy of. Or, if it's something flat, you could get a cheap poster frame from a craft store and collage all that stuff together. That's actually my project for this evening once I get my laundry started. :)

i'm the same way, but since we are moving home this fall i made my new year's resolution to get rid of / condense / organize one thing per week in preparation. once you get in the habit it's like a drug. there's a freestore in our building and i'm constantly on the prowl for things to take down there and never have to look at again!
