Today I dragged dad out to the house with me in case I needed a hand with getting the toilet reinstalled on the closet flange.  It was helpful having a second set of hands for a few parts of the process. Well, after work I decided to go to the house and try to get the closet flange bolted into place. I got out my bad-boy drill and a new drill bit and begin to attack the two stubborn holes again. I was hoping to get the plumbing for the toilet in the main bathroom buttoned up today, but no such luck. Before I could drill the pilot holes for the new anchor bolts for the toilet closet flange, I had to chisel away some grout and concrete so that the flange could sit level.  Then I had to chisel away more material so that the drill bit could ( Read more... )
