i hate that i don't update regularly...
so it has been a way long time... since the last time i updated...
went to work from 2 - 7 on friday, and then made plans to hang with selena, but then had to cancel to go to my cousin reena's house because all of my family florida had just arrived that day... so we had a nice little visit with them, and got to see some people that i hadn't seen in a while... after the family festivities were over, reena, blossom, bubino, my mom and i all went out to see monster in law at granite run, and it was good, i enjoyed it, and spending time with the girls in my family like old times... ended up not going to the grad party:(...
that saturday i got called into work, so i met up with natalie a little later than expected, but around 4-ish... i bought some clothes from express, with a 50% off my first purchase discount... that was way sweet... i got some jeans, a cute pink sparkly scarf, a white tank top and a white sweater shrug... plus some cute pink pants. natalie came over for a bit, and she saw my house and we watched some tv... made some plans for dinner, and it turned into a big awesome thing. it ended up being me, natalie, silly, aurora, emily, ryan, ben, floyd, pete and ahmed. we were all running a little bit late, and things were a little crazy, but it was such a good time... i thoroughly enjoyed myself, and everyone got to meet natalie and we celebrated ahmed's birthday as well:), all the waiters and waitresses sang the happy birthday song to him:)... after, gil and johnny mac met up with us outside after their weekend in hershey and we talked to them for a bit and watched some fireworks as well.. after, we went to silly's house for a big, and then ahmed and i went to take natalie to meet up with her aunt, and then after, it was me, silly, ben, floyd and pete and we went to, not one, but two wawas... fun times, rockin out to kelly clarkson...
on sunday after church, i went to work, and then pearl picked me up and we met up with breon and his friend joe.. that was interesting:).... we went to borders, where i picked up the latest gossip girl book and then went to coldstones, which was hella expensive, and although it was good, i'm not sure that my ice cream was worth six of my hard earned dollars... after, me and pearl went to go see the sisterhood of the traveling pants movie finally and breon and joe joined us... that was interesting as well... great movie... the book was better, but it was still great.. after we talked to them for a bit in the parking lot and then we went home...
the next week was pretty blah for the most part... school and such... the end of school was good... i aced some tests, and i worked with andrew and charlie on our project and we made an awesome powerpoint about being a missionary...
wednesday was exciting though, pearl and i went into center city and met up with natalie, that was a SUPER fun time.. i love walking around in the city... i saw where she worked, and the rosenbach is in SUCH a beautiful neighborhood, i wish i could live there... so close to all these great places, and rittenhouse square.. fun times... so we went into some stores, including anthropologie (!)... then we went and had dinner at this CUTE little vegetarian sandwich shop called "sunwishes"... it was too cute, and good food as well.. after we walked around some more and then got ice cream from ben and jerry's... i got a scoop of irish mudslide, which was way good, everyone should try it... we ate our ice cream on a bench in rittenhouse square and talked about how awesome it would be to live there when we're older.. .or now:). pearl and i left around 7, so natalie could go to her class... i wish i could have gone too, but i had to study for my business test the next day...
that saturday we had a birthday party for my little brother jay and i went to work at linens n things... in addition to my cashiering duties, i will also be put on the floor in the bath section, where my main responsibility will be folding towels! this girl named carolyn who lives in springfield also was training me... she's way nice...
on sunday, i went to work, and then pearl's house for father's day dinner... good food...
then i had my last week of school... pretty uneventful... woke up early on monday morning so that i could attend a catholic mass for my religion project... had a test on judaism on tuesday and then finished up our project with the boys and it was AWESOME... on wednesday we had a fire drill.. or maybe not a drill, i'm not really sure... in the middle of religion class... and since there was practically no one there, she told us not to worry about coming back after... did our presentation and i think we did a great job... we ended up getting the highest grade out of all the groups and i ended up with the highest average, with 98 points.. on thursday, woomer did a review jeopardy type game, for which me andrew and charlie, team woom, kicked ass in for the whole beginning, and then we got creamed by team bill and someone else... fun times though... i really enjoyed that class a LOT more than i thought i would, and i'm glad i took it, it was a great experience... religion was interesting, but our professor was so boring, so i'm in the middle about that..
on thursday, after class, i met up with pearl and we went to the library for a bit, and then to granite run and got chinese for lunch at panda express, then got manicures and pedicures, and then hit up the victoria's secret sale, where we both got a lot of cute stuff, but also spent a LOT of money.. i was very happy with all of my purchases, except that i couldn't find the matching top to these amazingly soft yellow pajama pants i bought... its kool though, they're still awesome... went to work that evening, and thats was boring... i bumped into jessica chachi though, and that was good to talk to her, she's going to florida and we had a nice little chat about a certain crazy member of my family... oh boy...
on friday, i woke up semi-early and went to the movies with jessy chachi, we saw bewitched, the first showing of it... that was good, i enjoyed it a lot, and all of nicole kidman's clothes in the movie were so cute and will ferrell was funny.. plus it was good to talk to and bond with jessy chachi...
on saturday i didn't do much all day, i think, went to work at five... got picked after by silly, ben, pete and floyd, and we all went out to applebee's and met up with cait and mike, who i hadn't seen in forever... that was fun, i really enjoyed myself... sunday, did the church thing then went to work at express and tom was our manager for the day... i just think you guys should all know that i love him. haha, seriously though, he's way cute, and fun and funny too... he was cracking jokes over our headsets the whole time, and it was a good day for sales, and me and michelle both opened credit and the other closer, liz, is kool too.. it was a good day... plus, silly and ben stopped by to visit:)... reenche took me home, and i wasn't feelin' too good, so i just kind of chilled and watched a movie... it was good to just kind of take some time off and relax for real for once... i was feeling a little worn.. i watched HITCH and LOVED it... its been a while since i've seen a movie that i enjoyed that much... so the nite wasn't a total flop...
worked monday nite.. tuesday was blah, full of crazyness about what to do this weekend with the fam... i think we've finally decided that we're going to dorney park on saturday, which i'm excited about.. i really do like spending time with my family and my whole extended family, esp. now that i have pearl. and i'm excited because i love amusement parks... should be a good day...
today was great, other than the fact that i still didn't feel all that great.. but because of that, i didn't feel guilty at all and stayed in bed till about 1:30-ish, then got up and watched tv all day, and to improve the lazy-feeling of the day, it was rainy all day... it was so great to just really have a whole day of just nothing... i haven't had that in forever... although, it would have been fun to go to six flags with the boys... i wouldn't have enjoyed myself because i felt sick all morning neway... plus, cara im'd me and i talked to anna today too, which was good, i miss them. however, anna informed me of the passing of a beloved member of our HC family: GoldenFishLove... she was a great fish, and will definitely be missed... it makes me wonder how WT is doing.. i keep forgetting to ask Cara about him... i will be upset if he dies this summer... but he has been a great fish, and i'll understand and accept it if it happens.. he lived a lot longer than those (many) fish before him, and that makes me happy... he's a live-r...
i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow... i like my doctor, she's way nice, but i don't enjoy going to the doctor, even if it is just for a well check-up kind of deal...
