Today we welcomed Augie, a two year old golden lab, into our family.

I will have pictures later (when the batteries on my camera are charged).

"If your intention was to shoot an arrow through my heart... BULLSEYE!"

Heard this last night and thought of us almost peeing our pants. Does it ring any bells?

Rain is few and far between in San Diego,
so when it storms I consider myself very lucky...
especially if it happens on my day off.

After a hot shower, sweats are on, tea is made and a stack of books sits on the coffee table.
I wrap up in a blanket and get ready for a long day of

nothing.

One self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE)- check.

One copy of my work, aka: Mismatched , aka: a short fiction piece- check.

One very deep breath- check.

Feeling pretty confident that I nailed the CBEST. Trying not to get too excited because I don't want to jinx myself.

Now, it's on to preparing for the CSET... which I am DREADING.
