I should totally write a story about how I was getting my landline telephone. I'm sure it would be a hit. Seriously, think about a comedy of errors, everything that could have gone wrong gone. The plot would touch upon discrimination, bureaucracy, undue influence. There would be tears (mine) and blood (monteur's). SO should write that story.

landlines.... you know, no one gets those anymore. I mean, young people moving to new places that is. I can't help but feel relieved when I hear others have it, though. Just seems safer in case of emergency.
