Tartar Sauce

½ cup mayonnaise

1/3 medium onion, finely diced

1 dill pickle, diced

Splash of pickle juice

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

1 drop of mustard

If desired you can add about a teaspoon of chopped fresh dill, dill relish and/or a dash of tobasco.  Also, I consider sweet tartar sauce a sacrilege so I always use dill pickles.

Thousand Island

2/3 - ¾ cup of mayonnaise

Approx ¼ cup Ketchup

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

1-2 drops taco sauce and/or tobasco

1 boiled egg, diced

1 tsp dill relish

1 drop of mustard

I like my thousand tangy, so I probably use more ketchup than that. These are just approximations, and you may have to fiddle around with the measurements to get a flavor blend and consistency you like. Just remember it’s easier to add more than it is to take away, so err on the side of caution.
