Spaghetti sauce:

1 jar of tomato and basil sauce
1 can of diced peeled tomatoes
2-3 cloves garlic, diced
1.5 - 2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
bay leaf

brown ground beef seasoned with season salt, Mrs. Dash and pepper, drain (into a disposable container) then return to pot (I brown the beef in the same pot I'm going to make the sauce in so I don't have to do extra dishes).  Add about half of each of the onion, peppers and garlic then saute for a few minutes.  Mix in sauce and tomatoes, add in bay leaf.  Heat through, then let simmer for a bit while you prepare the pasta.

Fill large pot with water, put on stove over high heat , pour in about a tablespoon of oil.  Some people will salt the water when it comes to a boil but I don't really cook with salt much.  When boiling, turn heat down to med-high and mix in pasta.  Mix to separate any that may get stuck together after a couple of minutes.  Boil for about eight minutes until done.  When done, drain.  Serve sauce over pasta w/ a sprinkle of parmesan and with salad and french bread on the side..
