Kuala Lumpur PTQ detail

Last Saturday, I went to the Magic PTQ for Kuala Lumpur. I did not win. The closest I came to top 8 was when I crushed my second round opponent. The closest I came to prizes was when I thought I had a chance to go X-3 in round 6. I like your reasoning. One thing I do too often (and I know it, but can't help it) is to get too focused on color. As far as the black, I know you're right on the Moonglove Winnower. It got sided out almost every match. I thought Oona's Prowler was very good, and I knew I'd see some high-toughness Treefolk. The Weed Strangle worked well against 4-7 toughness men.

It also may surprise you, but I had almost NO mana difficulty. The game I had a color problem was the game I was stuck in three mana until about turn 10.

Is Lairwatch Giant an auto-include, given the pool and the slower format?
