Last Saturday, I went to the Magic PTQ for Kuala Lumpur. I did not win. The closest I came to top 8 was when I crushed my second round opponent. The closest I came to prizes was when I thought I had a chance to go X-3 in round 6. Poll Battle of the Bands

I jsut saw yet another trailer for Walk Hard. A couple of things occur to me. One is the obvious disdain for the marketing machines for movies that look substandard.

For those not aware, Deal or No Deal had open auditions here yesterday. They set up shop at one of the car dealerships in town. I was one of an estimated 8,000 people that showed up. ( The Story )

A couple of weeks ago, I got word that I would be ending my assignment where I was within (What I'll call) Hudsucker Industries. Thankfully, I was able to get a different job in the same corporate office. Unfortunately, I now work 10-6:30.

This makes drafting at Misty North somewhat of a challenge.
