Dorm Lawn - Saturday Evening

The weekend wasn't over yet and Joan was already hating it. Adam showing up had been confusing and weird. Liir was having a meltdown over his dead mother showing up. The only thing she was grateful for was that her parents hadn't shown up.

But she needed some peace and quiet, so she was sitting outside, staring up at the night sky.

Peace and quiet? Oops, not quite.

Raven was walking up the path to the dorm entrance. She was hand-in-hand with a pale-skinned boy, and her face lit up when she saw Joan. "Joan! There you are, I wanted to find you. I have wonderful news."

"Hey, Raven," Joan said, looking between her friend and the boy and noticing the hand-holding. "Who's your friend?"

Raven glanced back at Sebastian, who was lingering behind, just watching her and Joan for now. "That is Sebastian," she said happily. "I am to be wed to him."

"... say what now?" Joan asked.

The name Sebastian didn't ring any bells.

Joan was freaking out and pissed that she had forgotten to grab her phone. She ran towards the dorm when someone grabbed her arm.

She bit back her scream when she realized who it was.

"Okay, if you're not here to help me help Raven then you have to wait," she insisted.

"Relax, Joan. That's precisely why I'm here," He said.

"Okay, good, go stop them!"

Joan knew that was probably wishful thinking.

"I can't do that, Joan," He said. "Free will and all. But you'll run into the help you need."
