Penelope breezed in after doing a little shopping in town. She needed some Ho Ho's.

"You're back?" Joan asked, checking to make sure she hadn't gone crazy.

"Yes. I'm back. It's really me." She thought she should explain that.

"Shopping was horrible today. I believe I have squash in my hair and it was odd, but these tiny cherry tomatoes tried to take bites out of my stockings."

She gave her a big smile and set down her packages. "I missed you terribly."

Joan didn't much care if there were vegetable bits hanging off of Penelope, she grinned and immediately hugged her. "I missed you too! I'm so glad you're back."
