Joan's door was cracked open and there was 80s music playing while she did her hair and makeup for the dance. Just in case any of her friends wanted to stop by and get ready together.

Raven had already put on her dress, but the shoes were still dangling from her fingertips when she slipped into Joan's room. "I am not sure about the comfort of these," she said, despite the fact that her future/canon self fought evil regularly in high heels.

"They aren't supposed to be comfortable," Joan explained. "They're just supposed to look good."

No, it didn't really make sense.

Sitting down on the edge of Joan's bed, Raven started to slip the shoes on her feet. "Are you able to dance in yours?" Not that she knew how to dance, but.

"Slow dance? Sure," Joan said. "That's just basically standing in one place and swaying in time to the music. If I want to dance to faster music, I'll take them off."
