After work, stopping by her quarters to pick up a birthday present, pick up a well hidden bottle of vodka (she had replenished her supplies on the Vulcan Colony) and change out of her uniform before making bee-line for Joanna's quarters. Her present was extremely dorky, even by her own high standards but she hoped that Joanna would like them. She gave a quick yawn before ringing the chime and waiting to be let in.

Jo had stopped by the galley and put together an acceptable spread to make sure they had a good base to start their drinking. Lots of finger food that wouldn't require utensils to eat. As soon as the door buzzed she called for it to open. She had out her own supply of whiskey out along with a couple glasses. Not the really good stuff, but not the lowest end of what she had.

"Pasha!" She gave an honest grin. "Ready for the challenge?

"I am always ready." Pasha replied with a smile as she stepped inside.

She presented the other with the brightly wrapped present. "I hope you like it, it is slightly silly though." Hikaru had said they would be okay but she had been uncertain, purchasing jewelry for girls was really difficult but it had been that or a tribble and they had a tendency to get out of hand.

"I'm sure I'll love it," Jo grinned, taking the gift and hugging Pasha, showing a little restraint instead of diving right into opening the present.

Okay, enough restraint, present time! She opened it carefully, and squealed a little. She had a total dangling earrings addiction and these were gorgeous. "They even match my uniform!"
