On the Other Side of the Looking Glass

Jo woke up alone. This wasn't quite right. She distinctly remembered having had such a good time fucking with the Vulcan that she'd let him stay the night in order to possibly resume activities in the morning. There should be another body in there with her ( Read more... )

Currently running to see who wreaked havoc with my body, rest assured I won't do anything unsafe or untoward with yours in the meantime. With you in ~30 min.

Nora knocked on Joanna's door, slightly more disheveled but still dressed, John behind her dressed in her clothes. "Ensign McCoy? It's me. I mean you."

Jo had just made it to her room, and convinced the computer to take her code. Damned fingers were not as maneuverable as her own. She was ordering up breakfast while waiting for them. She'd have to find the Vulcan she'd slept with later and thank him properly. Idly, she wondered why her Dad hadn't contacted her.

Maybe she hadn't heard? Nora tried a few more, harder knocks on the door, glancing at John. Was her - his - normal body hard of hearing?

She tried to get it to open vocally, failed and had to walk over to hit the open button. "Sorry, the computer doesn't recognize my authorization in this body."

Joanna's communicator beeped in answer to her earlier call to her father, and a familiar voice came through loud and clear. "Hello?"

"Hey Dad? Yeah don't freak, but I seem to have misplaced my body," Jo said teasingly. "Well, not misplaced so much as decided to try someone else' out for size?"

A man's voice. Karl raised an eyebrow, and glanced back at the others before responding. Well, that answered one of their questions -- it wasn't localized to the three of them. "Yyyyeah," he said awkwardly. "There seems to be a lot of that going around, unfortunately. I'm kinda... not your dad. He isn't here at the moment."

"Huh," Jo took a swift solution to this right off her list. "Who're you then? I've got three switchers here in my room with me.""

"I have a bad feeling about this," Jo murmured as she set the comm to the side. "Okay guys. I've got information for y'all."

John looked up. Joanna's tone of voice worried him. "Let's have it, then."

Information...that rang a bell. "Hey!" she said abruptly, and the others looked at her. "Er. Ensign McCoy...when you woke up, you were wearing a wriststrap, weren't you? Leather thing, lots of blinky lights on?"

Jo nodded. "I took it of, it wasn't regulation. It's on the dresser in your rooms."

"And...the news is interesting. Dr. McCoy, Captain Kirk, and First officer Spock have all been switched with their actor-counterparts from back in the year 2010."

Nora wasn't sure what all this was about a wriststrap, but the information about the three people mentioned was both fascinating and disturbing. "Wow. So no help there, I guess," she quipped. Still, wow. Meeting outside of LJ.
