I'll be driving to Tennessee from New Hampshire at the end of the month and will need some new tunes (audio books can only go so far). Recently I've enjoyed Vampire Weekend, Jenny Lewis and The Decemberists. Who else should I get?

How about the Dandy Warhols? I'm also a big fan of Spoon.

I love both of them and have been meaning to get Spoon's new album. Thanks for reminding me!

If you like Jenny Lewis, you may also like Neko Case as well. Also the new album by She & Him, which features music by M. Ward (who produced some of the Jenny Lewis solo album) and vocals/lyrics by Zooey Deschanel. Despite being the musical project of a film star, it's really quite good.

Oh, and also, you might want to check out some music podcasts. Often their archives are available, so you can get hours and hours of good stuff downloaded in minutes. My favorites are NPR's All Songs Considered and the various CBC Radio 3 podcasts.

The soundtrack to Juno should be right up your alley!

Scarlett Johanssen's album of Tom Waits covers is good.

Haha, just kidding. The new Wolf Parade is good, so is the Juno soundtrack.
