Some Updates

Yesterday, Jess monoploized the apartment. She gave the bedroom to Alan so he could sleep, then she came out into the living room where I was set up. She turned off the TV and asked me when I was going to be off the phone! Just to let you know, according to Associated Press style, you're exactly right using quotes around the book title.

What? You're not serious? Since when? I always thought quotes were used for short stories and a novel was either underlined or italized. I can't believe I graduated college (and as an English major) and have been doing it wrong all this time. That can't be right. The Associated Press is wrong. It has to be.

The Associated Press doesn't always follow standard English form, but that's how it will appear in most newspapers around the world, in quotes.
