Has anyone got any ideas on how to sort out an out of control 11 year old? I've run out of ideas now - if hes not throwing chunks of concrete at other kids then he's taunting kids older than him and expecting me help him when they have a go back - which i wont do anymore - this morning i got stopped by 2 different parents who wanted me to have a

Have you tried the Scouts or something like those. Mats' behaviour got alot better when he joined Sea Cadets. Unfortuantely you have to be 13 for the cadets

MMnnn difficult, how long has he been doing it? Has he started since beginning at secondary school? if so it maybe because he has gone from being the eldest to the youngest in the school!!
Groundings, removal of everything from his bedroom and teel him he can win stuff back by behaving but will lose it again when he misbehaves.
Try talking to your GP as well as SS as he can help too, SS does do short term fostering and wont take the others off you but their spaces are limited..I know cos I rung them when exasperated with Mattie earlier this year.
As for Dave going out and getting drunk well if it was me and my Dave he would be out on his ear until he agreed to support me properly..you cannot have this Kirk will see you as being the bossy one and Dave as the soft one!! Make him watch supernanny on a wednesday night 9pm ch4..very enlightening viewing, I love it!!
If all else fails invest in some decent handcuffs and a ball gag.
