I never want to go through a day like that ever again! got a phone call from kirks school at 20 past 9 to ask if he had got home yet? when I said he hadn't and that I wasn't expecting him home as he had left the house at 8 to catch the school bus they informed me that the bus had broken down on the way and that before the driver could get

Little smegger. At least he was ok. I bet you flipped when he strolled in the door. What did the police say when you told them he was safe and well and had just bunked off at a mates house?

they came out to do a safety and wellbeing report and stressed how important it was to come straight home if the bus broke down again and if i wasnt in to phone me - using money he has in his bag along with my mobile number that i gave him for occasions like this! - and mentioned that wasting police time is a criminal offence.

Dave just phoned to tell me the test might go on past last bus home so he might not be back til tomorrow!
