<---- Back to Part 1 Chapter 7 - Part 2
Meanwhile, Jin was still staring at the clock waiting for Kazuya to return. He knew it didn't take this long to go to the cleaner's, but then he thought maybe Kazuya was still mad at him. He left the room and headed to Tatsuya and Ryo's room to see if he had gone there. He knocked on their door. Ryo came to the door.
“Hey, Jin, what are you doing here? Where's Kazuya?” he asked looking around.
“...He's not with you?”
“Why would he be with me?”
“We had a bit of......an argument and he went to town by himself... and he's not back yet...”
Ryo didn't say a word. Tatsuya came to the door instead his eyes not like his usual self. “We need to go find him, now. I have a bad feeling and they are never wrong.”
Ryo looked at his lover knowing it wasn't quite him. Jin nodded and ran to the front to see if Kazuya had signed in. When he hadn't he ran to his motorcycle and was quickly followed by Tatsuya and Ryo. They jumped into a green and black convertible.
Jin yelled over to them over his bike. “He has a bad habit of getting lost in bad areas. I'll check downtown where I found him before. You guys check the area around the cleaner's.”
They nodded and they were all off in search of Kazuya. Jin was cursing to himself for letting him go on his own anyway.
Kazuya was now completely lost or so he thought until he recognized a little alley. He walked into it and into the toy store that Jin had taken him to. He looked around for Seiji and saw him at the register. He walked over to him and Seiji recognized him instantly.
“Ah! Why, isn't that little Kazuya that I see? Where's your boyfriend, sweetheart?” he asked in his fabulous voice.
“I...got lost. I was wondering if Jin had a number or something I could call...”
Seiji told him there was and that he would go find his number, but that wasn't needed. Jin came running into the store and looked around. When he saw Kazuya standing at the register he ran over and grabbed him, pulling him close. Kazuya hugged him tighter than he thought he would.
“Never again. I'm not letting you come out here alone again. It doesn't have to be with me, but with Tatsuya or Ryo, just not alone, ever.”
Seiji had came back around the corner and decided not to say anything for once. Jin pulled slightly away from Kazuya to pull out his cell phone. He called Tatsuya's phone, since Ryo was driving.
Tatsuya answered on the second ring. “Did you find him? The lady at the cleaner's said he was there and ran out upset.” His voice was still different from his usual one.
“Yeah, I have him in my arms right now. I told him he's not allowed alone out here anymore. It's too dangerous for him to be getting lost.”
Kazuya only watched Jin's face. He couldn't believe how worried he was, but there was reason, he guessed. So many bad thing's has happened to him since he got to the academy. He decided when they were safe in their room after dinner, that he would tell Jin about meeting his mother. Jin hung up the phone and picked Kazuya up in his arms, carrying him out to the motorcycle.
“Ah! Put me down, Jin!”
“I will when that sexy butt of yours is planted firmly on the back seat of my bike. I'm going to have to put a chip in you so you can always be found.”
He dropped him onto the bike and put his helmet on him. He got on and wrapped Kazuya's arms around himself reminding him to not let go or he would fall off. He started it up and they were on their way back to the academy. As they were pulling onto the school grounds Kazuya saw an expensive green and black convertible pull into a space. His jaw dropped when he saw his two best friends get out of it. Jin parked and pulled Kazuya off throwing up in his arms again. Kazuya blushed brightly and began kicking to have Jin put him down.
Tatsuya came over to them and gave Jin a look. “Jin, put him down. The last thing we need is for you to upset him again. If he runs off again we may not find him.”
Kazuya couldn't believe it was Tatsuya talking. This sounded like that voice when he was showing him around the school. “Tat-chan? Why do you sound...so...?” he didn't know how to explain it.
Tatsuya gave a glare, but Ryo answered for him. “Um...Kame, we should have told you sooner. Tatsuya suffers from multiple personality disorder. Thankfully, it's only one other one. His name is Kuya. He was created when his parents were very cruel to him. You remember us telling you that story, well he is like Tatsuya's protector in a way that I can't be. When Tasuya doesn't want to face reality he disappears inside of himself allowing Kuya to take over,” he glanced at the glare Kuya was still giving, “and he hates when people call him Tatsuya or Tat-chan. Don't feel too bad I've done it many, many times in the past. He'll get over it. Sooner or later Tatsuya will realize you're back and Kuya will let him have control again.”
Kazuya's jaw had dropped. “S-so... that's not Tat-chan? And he came because I got lost?”
He received a nod from Kuya and Ryo. The two walked away and headed for dinner. Jin put Kazuya down but held his hand. They followed the other two into the cafeteria. They ate in silence and then went to their respective rooms. Kazuya snuggled up into the bed and was quickly followed by Jin. Jin began to rub Kazuya's butt and chest over his clothes, but he was stopped.
“There's too much on my mind, Jin...”
Jin sighed and laid in the bed next to him. Jin knew he wasn't going to apologize for their fight and Kazuya was sure he wasn't going to anyway. Kazuya decided to forgive him, even without an apology. He turned to face Jin and laid his head on JIn's chest. Jin started rubbing his back.
“Jin...” he started unsure of how he was going to react, “I met your mother today...”
Jin only sighed. “What did that old hag say?”
“She said some horrible things about you, actually. It made me so upset and I started crying. I lost my way cause I was running so fast...”
Kazuya felt Jin's body tense up in anger. “That hag is the reason you got lost?”
He started to feel a little bit afraid, because he thought Jin was mad at him. “Y-yeah...but please don't be mad at me, I just... I didn't like hearing those things about you...”
Jin pulled him close into a hug and kissed the top of his head. “I'm not mad at you, Kazu. But if I knew where that sleaze ball of a mother was-- nevermind.”
Kazuya hoped he hadn't just started another fight between Jin and his family, but then again, if his mother acted like that to a stranger he could only imagine how she treated Jin. He snuggled his head against Jin's chest and kissed his cheek. Jin answered by pulling him close and wrapping his arm securely around him.
“Jin...”
“Yes, Kazu?”
“I'm sorry... for what I said before...”
Jin smiled but Kazuya couldn't see it. “It's alright. Just shocked me a little is all. How about you just take your clothes off and sleep in your boxers again? I like it when you sleep like that.”
Kazuya blushed. “You only like that so much because I sleep funny.”
Jin nodded and stood up removing his shirt and pants. He laid back down in the bed only to pull at Kazuya's shirt. “Be glad I don't want you to wear a pair of those sexy panties I got for you the other day.”
At that, Kazuya took off his shirt and jeans. He jumped back in the bed and curled up under the plush blankets. He snuggled himself down into the bed. Jin watched him chuckling before joining him under the blankets.
“Kazu, why do you sleep so deep?”
Kazuya shrugged his shoulders moving next to Jin for warmth. “It might be cause I've spent so long on a fold-up futon bed. These are so soft and comfy!”
Jin looked down at his little lover. “What's a fold-up futon bed?”
Kazuya had to stop himself from crying out in frustration. Damn rich kids! “It's like a thin mattress you lay on the floor and when you aren't using it, you fold it up and can put it in a closet to keep it out of your way.”
Jin was still a little confused, but could also tell that Kazuya was starting to reach his limits on explaining his old life, especially to someone who has never had to live on his own and be poor. He closed his eyes and tried to imagine what it would be like to sleep on a tiny mattress like that. While he was imagining, he could hear the quiet snores from Kazuya who had fallen asleep easily.
