The Character
Name: Nicole Anderson
Age: Nineteen years old.
Likes/Dislikes: Nicole loves old movies and a various selection of music ranging from the Ting Tings to Lady Gaga. She loves her mom cooking and loves living at home so she can always have a home cooked meal. If not she will settle for a Subway sandwich or even just a big bag of candy. She does have pet peeves and many dislikes however, she hates when Joe beats her up on set, even though she wins most of the time and she also hates when people drops their chewing gum on the floor. Nicole is a very hygienic person and is always picking up after the boys on set, even Chelsea sometimes too, she may hate it but secretly she loves in deep down.
Family Life/Hometown: Nicole was born in Rochester, Indiana and has always admitted to being a small town girl who has amazingly big dreams. Born Nicole Gale Anderson, she lived with her siblings, Kenn and Nadine and also her mother and father. If anyone has seen her youtube videos, you can tell she is insanely close to her mom and also loves her family to death, including her adopted family of her pets. Performing seemed to be in her blood from the day she was born, having performed in front of family and friends as a little kid before throwing herself into Gymnastics at three years old, which would prove helpful in future as she won three state championships and also a national championship. As Nicole hit 13 years old, she won a modeling competition, giving her a scholarship to the Barbozion Modeling School which led her to many advertisements including clothing ads for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. From there she moved to San Marcos, California with her family as she landed roles in Hannah Montana and iCarly. Through her twitter, Nicole has stated that two of her favourite people are her brother and sister, tweeting that they hang out a lot and also that they have a good relationship. Through the internet Nicole as shown her close family relations.
Disney Relation: Nicole is one of the newer additions to the disney team having made small cameo's in TV shows such as Hannah Montana as Jake Ryan's costar and also in popular Nickelodeon shows Zoey 101 and Unfabulous. In 2009 however, she made her first disney main character debut as Macy in the now hit show JONAS, bringing her to a close relationship with the three Jonas Brothers. On hearing that she had been accepted for the part, Nicole couldn't help but be excited for more reasons than one, one of them being her best friend would be working along side her in her first major role. Even though her character in JONAS is obviously Jonas or Lucas obsessed, Nicole confesses to being totally cool when she first met the boys as she found them the most down to earth boys on the planet. Over the months of filming and rehearsals, Nicole and all three brothers, even Frankie, have become very close friends, Nicole attending a few of their shows and showing her support for her best friend.
Relationships: Nicole is currently single but would love a relationship with someone she knew she could trust. Even though she would love a relationship, she knows it would be difficult considering her busy schedule with JONAS and other acting prospects, but Nicole also attends college in Los Angeles. She feels that there is someone out there for everyone and hopes to find the one for her, but hopes it comes at a time where she wouldn't be as busy, knowing a lot of people wouldn't understand what she was doing. She is a virgin, and considers sex to be something to wait for and shouldn't be rushed with the first person she finds.
Originality: She comes across as a very bubbly and energetic girl but she has a very sensitive side. She wouldn't consider herself as one of the biggest Disney actresses so she feels herself as a down to earth girl and still likes to think that people can feel comfortable coming up to her and chatting like they were friends and she wasn't someone from the Disney Channel. She is a very genuine person and knows how to keep a secret for a friend, making her a loyal friend.
Community Writing Sample Here: Sitting on the set of the newest episode of Jonas, I picked the edges of my script as we waited on the boys showing up, they had been running late from the studio, or so they said. Secretly, I knew it was Joe fussing over his hair or Nick trying to find a store to buy Diet Coke. Well, it could be Kevin's fault, maybe he saw some shoes? Or a new guitar! He loves guitars. I saw Chelsea walking to her dressing room and I was left on set with the newest addition to our cast for a few episodes, Meaghan Martin. Chelsea had met her and obviously the boys had having starred with them in Camp Rock and of course they were best friends. I don't know why but I was nervous, I loved her show on ABC and she was awesome in Camp Rock and I was the only one who didn't know her. Sure I had seen her at a few events but I never talked to her as we were always pulled away before we got the chance. Maybe I'm just over thinking it, Joe says she's the sweetest girl so I'm sure we'll get along, I'm hoping anyway. Flicking open my script to pass the time, I went over a few lines that I always messed up on in rehearsals, and of course I wanted to get them right when we were actually filming. The door to the studio opened a few minutes later and I figured that it would be Chelsea or a director. But I heard a sort of unfamiliar voice and looked up to see Meaghan standing in front of me with a small smile on her face. We introduced ourselves and finally the boys arrived, my theory of the Diet Coke need being correct as Nick had a six pack of the can's under his arm, his script resting against it. During the time we were waiting, me and Meaghan had talked about how the boys were late on the Camp Rock set a few times too and couldn't help but laugh as they walked in, both of us getting weird looks from all three off them.
Journal Writing Sample: Its the first day of filming for season two of JONAS! Ah I'm so excited to get back to my family on set and see the boys who have vanished on tour all over the world and I'll see Chelsea even though I saw her yesterday but she's my best friend and I love her. I'm kinda hoping Joe isn't as clumsy as he was in season one especially when we're filming scenes! I still have that scar from when he dropped me. From reading the scripts, it looks like I'm safe for a few episodes but who knows, he may just trip me up, I'll be watching or tie your shoe laces together Jonas watch your back! I may be small but I'm everywhere. Yes Frankie said that and its now Jonas owned by the Bonus Jonas, I hope he's on set sometime, we can plot together!
