Characters: Cemi (Cody and Demi)
Setting: Demi's rehearsals for her concerts
Rehearsals had been going so great! I learned how to play all my new songs on guitar and piano and I'd learned all my dance moves, now all we were doing in rehearsals was perfecting all of it. Well, everything had been going well aside from one little mishap. One of my new, male dancers kept trying to flirt with me and asked me out to dinner (which of course, I turned him down and told him I was married.) But he knew that I was married. Cody comes to every single rehearsal, even if he comes late or comes just to bring me lunch. He knew that I had a son. I would stop whatever song or note I was playing the second I would see Cody and Landon walk in. I told Cody about it after a few times. Cody gave the guy a warning and told him to back off of me. I was surprised that Cody didn't kick the guy's ass right then and there, but I guess since it was just a verbal, he didn't want to take it that far. He knew I wouldn't let him get into a fight, especially not because of me.
However, today (one freaking day before we leave to New York) the dancer decided to turn his verbal flirtations into actually making a physical move. This morning I left Cody and Landon in bed, something I did every few days so that they can sleep in, before heading to rehearsals. After running through the show a handful of times, they called for a break and I headed outside to use the phone to call Cody. He told me about 20 minutes ago that he was on the way with lunch for him and I. I was starving! As I headed outside, Alex (the dancer with whom I've had the little problem with for the past few weeks) jogged after me and called out my name. "Yes?" I asked him as to not be rude, although I continued walking through the studio to meet Cody outside. 'Let me take you out to lunch right now.' "I'm married, Alex," I rolled my eyes as I took larger steps to get away from him, but he continued walking beside me. 'It's just lunch. We won't call it a date. Lunch as friends,' he continued to insist over and over as I finally turned into the hallway that led to the outside door. Almost out. I ignored him as I took smaller, but faster steps now. 'Can you please stop for one minute and hear me out?' "I'm meeting my husband and my son. What do you want?" In one swift movement, he spun to corner me against the wall, placing his hands on each side of me so that I couldn't walk away. He leaned in and his pressed his lips to mine, mumbling something about how he can make me feel good as his hand reached up to grab my breast through my shirt. "Get the fuck away from me," I placed both hands on his chest and shoved him with every bit of strength that I had in me, as I saw the sunlight suddenly light the hallway up, meaning the door opened.
