Supposedly what the Republicans are saying is that if they allow stem cells to be used to help save lives and all that stuff, that people will start getting pregnant just so they can have an abortion ( ... )

Magic Johnson had this done and was declared AIDS free, but I think he went into remission

I mean, I think he relapsed.. not went into remission.

If he in fact relapsed, it could be due to bad dieting when he got home and not taking care of himself afterwards. Also, the whole thing about AIDS is your T cell count... if your T cell count is low, then you're more likely to get sick.. if it's high, they you can fight off diseases better... So, in my opinion, just if this hydrotherapy takes away the use of the drug cocktails and still raises T cell counts to where AIDS is nearly undetected, it's a good thing.

I literally have no opion on steam cell research but am rather annoyed by this comment. Actually... Just the first few lines. "Republicans" and "God-Fearing" are the only ones against it? A. Not all republicans are against... please take me for example
B. Not all republicans are Christians... please take my father for example
C. Not only Republicans are against steam research.. please take my sisters, both Independant and one being atheist and the other is agnostic.
D. Using sterotypes in a "debate" is bad form.
E. Amber asked for someone who was against it to explain it... not someone who was for it to asume why peopel (oh excuse me.. just republicans) were against it and then spout off their biology teacher's words.

... Okay I am done. I miss you Amber! When are you going to come back and visit you silly little Liberal? <3

Okay, perhaps that comment was a little general, but you can't deny that the spokespeople who are doing the interviews on the news are Republicans and Democrats, Republicans usually against and Democrats usually for. I'm very fully aware that not all Republicans are Christian, which is why I didn't name any specific God. You can be Jewish and still be God-fearing.. you can be Islamic and be God-fearing ( ... )

I think people might be against stem cell research because it would be like playing God. Oh wait, hmm...let's think about this: All forests are now "protected national parks", where all endangered species may graze along the borders, most meats are farmed, veggies hardly have a chance to grow whild, we are already playing God, why stop?
