Has anyone ever tried returning things to Amazon? I ordered some items for smallbluesphere's birthday back in the middle of October. Package 1 never arrived. The re-sent package no. 2 didn't either. It's still free to return damaged etc... items but for unwanted there are charges now. To return 4 cds and 2 dvds it's going to cost me about £7.

I've emailed Amazon (not telling them that 1 & 2 have arrived, just that I've heard there is a backlog of unsorted mail of about 2 months) asking what I should do if the packages turn up.
