I'm presently listening to Radio 4 and the Now show has just come on. this show is always crap but they have just irritated me even more than usual but doing a really lame joke about bird flu featuring Swan Lake. Note to Messrs Punt and Dennis

I shouldn't worry too much about Dr Who: someone else is sure to tape it, and it'll be repeated at infinitum, to say nothing of nauseum, until the very end of time, and then it'll probably run on a loop tape in hell.

(Not a fan. Does it show?!)

I have given up on trying to talk sense to the general public - although I did snaffle this icon from the teeshirt site linked to Geoffrey Chaucer's blog, which soothed my soul somewhat.

I well remember you making the point that, if anything, it ought to be called The Leonardo Code, when the book was first published over here.I've been reading the judgement, in the Baigent & Leigh v Random House case and it's laugh out loud funny. The Judge clearly had them all pegged. I might post something about it.
Did you catch programme about The Last Supper, on BBC 2 on Thursday? I missed it but I understand that Mr Brown's (or should that be Mrs Brown's) reading of the painting was taken to pieces. The assertion that Beloved Disciple figure is a women has always struck me as being unconvincing. There are any number of renaissance and earlier paintings with idealized portrayals of young men making them look feminine.

I am intruiged.
I honestly thought that 'The Dying Swan' was in 'Swan Lake, and don't wish to remain in ignorance.

Which ballet does feature this piece of work, if I may ask?

Ps. Thanks for the reminder re: Dr Who.
Your LJ is really quite culturally educational, you know. I do hope that the Arts Council will see to it that you get sufficient funding to support your work in bringing culture to the masses - especially me!
