Stuff I'm Doing

1. Keeping up after the Shmoog.

That pretty much speaks for itself.

2. Knitting.

Not hanging around Ravelry as much as perhaps previously, but I have been making Jayne hats.  I even sold one on Artfire!  My Etsy account has yet to yield a sale, but I continue to live in hope.

I'm also auctioning one off for charity: Save Peter & Ericka's Accessible House

I find getting out and making friends with zero context to be a difficult task, especially when I'm in a situation like now, when I could really use the help of friends on a daily basis. When I went to grad school, for instance, or when I lived in Germany, I at least had a context; I had classes with people, interactions daily with other adults, and the freedom to just go and do with people that I didn't have here, with my sole definite occupation being "take care of brand new baby
