An American In Italy: May 2014: Day 3

5/10/14: Seriously.  Just… just, seriously.  My day started at 5:50 am and ended when I got back to the hotel at 9:30.  I’m exhausted, my feet have been throbbing since about 4 pm, I’ve got blisters despite the expensive walking shoes, got sunburned despite the sunscreen… still one of the best days of my life.  Rome. OMG.

6:30-7:00:  Breakfast

This sounds SO AWESOME. I was there 20 years ago, and I'm really enjoying reliving the memories as I read about your adventures! GOOD FOR YOU to go exploring. I did too, and it was well worth it and led to some of the best parts of the trip.
