Today I did a bunch of boring things around the house and then I went to the drama club picnic which wasn't nearly as horrible as I thought it would be. I had some fun even though most of the people there are really close friends and I was a bit of an outsider. With that group of people I think I'd rather be outside though. They are nice in small doses, but otherwise a bit overwhelming. =)
I've been a bit melancholy these last few days. I think it's because I've been tied up in the house. I'm afraid I'll fail my road test again, and even if I pass it I can't get a car until I get a job. With my parents at work during the day I still will have to sit at home doing nothing until they come home. I intend to get a job as soon as possible. I really need something to do.
Everything feels useless lately. I feel lonely and forgotten, but I don't know why because nothing has really changed and I haven't been ostracized from society or anything. heh. Now I'm just rambling. =/
At least I'll be able to lose myself in Harry Potter in just THREE MORE DAYS! I remember how exhausted I was after reading GoF for the first time. It was such an emotional ride and I loved every minute of it. I think this one is just going to get better. I get way too wrapped up in books while I'm reading them, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
