This account exists for one reason. Many of the LJs that I have encountered ban anonymous posts. Usually for good reason. In order to have a LJ identity, you must have an account ( Read more... )

Jodel,

It's so nice to have an lj account to link to the Red Hen site. I've been reading (and referring) other people to your HP essays for months.

I'd like to thank you for the large body of work you've posted there, since I've often used some of your observations as a springboard in my own essays, which focus largely on HP fanon. And I'm pleased you have an lj account, since I take that to mean that you might become a more frequent presence in lj hp discussions. That's a gain for the rest of us.

Cheers,

Cordelia V

The home page of Red Hen has an e-mail link.

As to the rest: I wouldn't say so much that I was on the right track as that I was driving the right engine. I honestly thought Rowling was playing the "redemption card" with this series. Post_HBP it looks very much as though she doesn't intend to "redeem" andything or anyone in it. Not Harry, not the wizarding world probably not Snape and certainly not Tom Riddle.

I have come to very much the same conclusion regarding the Horcrux, although I think it is actually the scar, not Harry himself. That is gone into in the rewrite of Changeling Hypothesis which should be up by the end of the week. Premature Prediction may get totally reworked ad retitled, though. I'm not sure yet.

Hi!

I thought you might be interested in this essay which I picked up via a link in hp_essays since it references one of yours.

I'm posting my own corrections about his misinterpretations of the Fabian Society, but I thought it might interest you.
