Enjoyable things to tally. Your totals are impressive, and show your interests. I would think your new environment may have precluded erroneous time to volunteer outside of your own needs.
but i've been here for almost three years and know of plenty of ways in which to volunteer my time and talents so it really is just laziness. i had a lot of engrained volunteer-gigs in MN such as KFAI and that sort.
i try to keep that quiet, too! i can't be a quantitative historian until i am in a position to have assistants: the software confuses me and statistics starts to seem a little like stage magic after a few paragraphs.
