Aww, sweet story..much nicer than the rest of the ep from last night.....yeah I heard about the Conn. school shooting and Idk why ppl who want to kill themselves ( and their mom) don't just kill 2 ppl, why do they have to kill many others too? I mean I'm sad the mom died and all but it's even worse when you hear about the 20 kids...

That was beautiful, even though there are no words sometimes.

This was a great story.
One that I could actually see happening.
I can see Callie and Arizona having that conversation.
You're very good at capturing both Callie and Arizona's personality and writing a scene that I could see Shonda herself writing.
What a very sad situation though.
How can someone actually point a gun at a 6 year old and pull the trigger? And not just once. But actually point a gun at an innocent little child and pull the trigger multiple times and then repeat that action over and over again?
I just can't wrap my head around how anyone could do that.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I try really hard to emulate the "GA" style, though I frequently end up writing sad things for some perverse reason (see my Calzona fic "Good Evening" for example!). It just brings out the closeness in our women, I guess.

Very well written. I love how you took a very tragic and current event and incorporated it into their story. Although we all struggle daily with issues, we must remember that some have it much worse and we should be thankful for all things. Sad that it takes such a tragedy to make us more appreciative.
Thanks for sharing and my prayers and thoughts are with the town of Newton, CT.

I really appreciate your taking the time to read and comment! I think that Calzona would be very aware of current events - it's an unfortunate aspect of the show that all the characters just sort of float in their own universe without responding to our world. (There has been no mention of same-sex marriage having been legalized in WA State since Calzona's wedding, for example!) But that's what fanfic is for! :)
