So my Grandma fell today and broke her hip in 3 different places. She now has 2 steel rods in her hip and has to be placed in a nursing home until she heals which can take 10-12 weeks. Now we are wondering how we are going to get her to the wedding around around at the wedding. I know it wouldn't take much to get a wheelchair for her to use but ( Read more... )

hey kid, broken hip eh? hmmm...i'm sure something is arangeable. Talk to the nursing home about the best way to temporarily mobilize her, then talk to a pharmacy about renting a wheelchair or whatever. my grandpa owns a pharmacy and i know they carry alot of that type of stuff for rent too...i'm assuming they make some special stuff for situations when a person with a broken hip is involved. Better to have her their in poor health than not at all.

Hi Hon, it's Andrea. I am so sorry to hear about your grandma! I'm going through some drama, too. Actually a lot of it. I just got a place (You probably heard about it from Kelly). I want all you guys to come and check it out sometime soon! Yeah I moved in with Kevin....we're back together but who knows for how long the way things are going right now (it's a long story). Sorry to hear that you've got more drama in your life. Drama totally sucks. We just moved into a townhouse right down the road from the Landmark. I guess Kelly is going back to SC this weekend so who knows what will be up with the band. I really want to practice and play some shows with you guys but I'm so busy with moving and the wedding. Speaking of wedding, I have an ivitation for you. Later.

Congrats on your new place! I am so happy for ya and I'm so excited about the wedding! You and Jon are so cute together!! I'll talk to you later...getting ready to play in a poker tournament. Oh and I kinda snagged a cat last night but the thing is in hiding under my bed and won't come out. I went and got food and toys and a litter box for her but she still just lays under the bed.
