The 4th may have been kickin' this year, but the main allure of the holiday sure isn't the fireworks anymore.  I've seen the gradual degradation in quality and duration of fireworks over the years... I can only hope that the curve dips no lower.  The fountains don't fire as long as they used to or nearly as high, practically nothing explodes in any

I agree, fireworks these days are so weak. I remember the big ones, they'd shoot about 20 feet in the air, now we're lucky if it's 5 feet. Despite this fun was still had.
