These are books on baseball that I liked:
- The Curse of Rocky Colavito by Terry Pluto
- Moneyball by Michael Lewis
- Dealing by Terry Pluto

This is a book on baseball that I thought was pretty good, but was maybe a little overhyped:
- The Boys of Summer by Roger Kahn

These are books on baseball that I am looking forward to reading:
- Satchel by Larry Tye
- The New Bill James Historical Baseball Abstract by Bill James

It is difficult for me to give suggestions on fiction because I, believe it or not, have particular tastes that don't always mesh well with others'. With that said, you might like:
- Corregidora by Gayl Jones
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
- The Harry Potter series (Steve-o, of all people, loved this series)
- Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
- The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera
- The Pearl by John Steinbeck
- Hughhhhhh! by Robin Heimen
