I got the call this morning, one of my best friends finally had his baby. Slightly overdue, they decided to induce labor yesterday, and around midnight they had a little baby girl. I told them to push on the third too! It's like they didn't even consider how awesome that would be. Very selfish of them if you ask me. They were worried about the baby having it's birthday too soon to Christmas, so they decided to induce labor since it was slightly over due. I told them the other option was to try to hold it in until after Christmas. February would be a grand birthday, right around the 6th :P I don't think they seriously considered that either...

Better yet, we should sign a petition to have Congress change the period of human gestation from 9 months to however-long-mom-wants. ;)
