Really? that is what pushes you over the edge about Palin. The fact that she said nanny nanny poop poo to Obama not, for example, the fact that when she was mayor her town charged rape victims for the cost of their rape kit?
I admittedly did not know about that before. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff that we could see in her past that adds up to quite a bit, but the total smearing of Obama IS what I find most troubling. The other stuff is her doing what she thinks is right and while I disagree vehemently with almost all of it, she still has her right to think that way. However, when she smears another candidate, that's demonstrating dirty politics that don't have to do with her belief system at all. Her comment about Obama is solely a ploy or tactic to win, and I hate it.
Seriously? Obama is a big boy and he is in the big boy game of rude, nasty politics. Politicians lie and name-call all the time -- everything about politics is dirty. Obama himself has told quiet a few "untruths". But that is what he signed up for, and if he can't take care of himself, well then he shouldn't have played with fire in the first place. Unfortunately, the only thing most rape victims ask for is for it to stop
