New Friends, Old Friends

It seems that friendships don't ever stay the same. They're always changing. One time we are all agreeing and then we are correcting each other and then we have disagreements and then forgiving and we seem to be falling away, but I don't think that's it at all. Okay, your journal entries are getting too vague for me to understand completely. But maybe it's me.

Anyway, you're right. Change is the only thing we can get used to, and it's here to stay. But we have hope that God will work everything out in the end for our good and His glory. You said it: Live for God!

Changes. Yes, there are a lot of changes. Some, I don't like much. But others - well, I'm sure they're for the best! I don't like change, but I was reading in Hebrews last night (chapter 12) and it was talking about God disciplining His sons....I know "changing" isn't necessarily "discipline", but all in all - to God be the glory!

On a side note...this part really struck out to me: Hebrews 12:4 "In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood." Maybe some of our changes have to do with some people realizing this and others, not understanding it.
