I know exactly how you feel. I recently dealt with $175 in overdraft fees from approximately $15 of drinks and food over the course of two days. It put me behind on bills for the month and will continue to do so until I get the sec. deposit for my new apartment taken care of.
Banks make good money off of people's momentary clumsiness and other vulnerabilities. Fucked up, no?
My gripe is how they handled things. Instead of running a bunch of cheap drinks through that would easily be taken care of and THEN the big purchase which would've netted me one single overdraft fee, they did it ass backwards and instead hit me for SEVEN overdraft fees. Absolute cocksuckers and I'm out $210 for their bullshit. Good thing my bills can hold off another week and what can't is able to be covered by my work paycheck (safely deposited into my NEW bank account) Banks can S a D.
