Spring has Sprung

It's been a helluva long time since I've updated my journal. Too long I think. A lot has happened in the past couple of months, moving was probably the biggest event. I've finally settled in to the new place, and I'm loving every minute of it! Living downtown is definitely everything I thought it was going to be. With regard to your future in the hospitality business, while it's true that things may not be so rosy there now (they seem to be a bit better here, at least), if you add to your knowledge base by continuing with professional development over the coming months, and work in different areas of the industry to build up the experience that you already have, when things do turn around, you will be in good stead for an ideal position when the economy does turn around.

Whatever you do, remember to have fun and be good to yourself.

Hopefully the potential for the noise levels will not materialize either. I know the area you speak of, and it is amazing how fliud traffic still moves there. Seattle can learn from you guys up there how to deal with traffic and mass transit.

But I don't really care about Seattle anymore...when are you heading down to the Bay? I am in Sacramento now!
