Reflections and transforms are a pretty big component of the Complex chapter in Further Math, hmmm. Maybe that's why he kept bothering you with noob questions =p
WTF I would have died in the interview... complex numbers --" Although I get most of your answers after thinking about it... I don't understand the last one! Do you get re^(i*alpha) and if alpha is changing but r is the same then to me it looks like a circle. --" ok my complex numbers are really bad...
heh, that was my train of thought too! but you must realise that you're probably looking only at a point on the line. A simple substitute of alpha = 0 would tell you that the image after the transformation should be another line.
sort of la, but I think I was totally noobed out by that question =( heh. But then again, all the questions he asked weren't hard, which was why I was pretty worried o.O
It's the same with everything, heh, it may seem very complicated cos you haven't learnt it, but once you get the hang of it, (and if it happens that it isn't the topic that you just can't get the hang of), you'd probably be like. orh. ok lor
