Pairings: Nick/Alyson, hints of Joe/Demi.

Summary: She never imagined this party would change her life.
BEST PARTY EVER.
Alyson Stoner was walking around one of her closest friend’s back yard. Demi Lovato’s back yard to be exact. Alyson had been invited to the party just as all the Camp Rock crew.
She had been enjoying the party but after some time she needed time for herself. Everything was just so confusing to her right now, she loved spending time with Meaghan, Jasmine, Ana and Demi, of course but she wasn’t used to this kind of attention. She had always been more of a shy girl than an out-going one. Her situation wasn’t as extreme as Demi’s one with the buying and everything at school but back home she only had a few friends, good friends but few.
And here she was now, as a part of the Camp Rock family a family that included the Jonas Brothers none less. The time she spent filming with the was short but enough for her to get to know them. Kevin was the gentleman one, always taking care of her like a sister and not letting anything bad happen to anyone. Joe, the funny one, and the one that was in love with Demi Lovato. Man they’ve tried to deny it but it was just impossible: their chemistry, their looks, the flirting with each other, etc it was undeniable.And the last member of the Jonas Brothers the youngest one, Nick Jonas the quiet and shy one. He wasn’t very talkative but he was really funny when he did and kind and generous. The type of guy Alyson liked. If she had to choose with which one of them she felt closer to she was sure she’d say Nick. The late nights talking, their crazy dances they invented when they were bored was something Alyson was never going to forget. So as you can see saying Alyson had a crush on Nick was a statement. But the fifteen year old girl knew better than that, she knew she didn’t have a crush on the curly haired boy. She was in love with him, and not the type pf love millions of fan girls held for him but real love, and she was sure how was she going to cope with Nick and her not seeing each other until Camp Rock 2 and not telling him her feelings. And telling him was something she wasn’t planning on doing anytime soon. But what made Aly worried was not the fact that she was in love with Nick it was what Demi had told her this morning. Demi told her Nick had confessed to Joe he liked Alyson, but she being the clever girl she was didn’t want to get her hopes up.She needed a proof to believe it. So here she was now walking with her shoes in one hand and feeling the warm air around her. She was just enjoying the walk and she didn’t actually know how much time it had been since she had come out but she didn’t want to go back because she had a feeling Demi would be to bussy dancing and laughing with a certain Jonas boy. She listened the back door open but she didn’t look up to see who it was because she thought it was just someone who needed time for themselves just like her. But then she felt someone tap her shoulder. She looked up to see who it was and she found herself face to face with Nicholas Jerry Jonas smiling at her.
“Hi” he said standing next to her. Alyson felt like her heart couldn’t beat any faster.
“Hey Nick” she replied “What are you doing out here?” It wasn’t like she didn’t want Nick to be with him anyway, she was just surprised.
“Well, I was wondering where you were” he said looking to her “I couldn’t be in a party without my dance partner” he said smirking.
She laughed. Nick Jonas just had that power to make her feel special, anything he said or did was perfect for her.
“So what are you doing here?” he asked curious.
“I uhmm….” She started “I needed time for myself” she finished unsure.
“To do what exactly?” she said the curiosity still there.
“Well, I have a lot on my mind” she sighed. How do you tell the boy you’re in love with that you have been thinking of him? She asked herself mentally.
“I know what you mean” he said sincerely .
Alyson looked at him from the corner of her eye, he looked perfect with the moonlight on his beautiful features, she couldn’t help thinking how a boy like him would go for someone like her. She was more of a tomboy, like playing basketball instead of playing with Barbies, always hanging out with boys, why would Nick Jonas choose her out of all the girls?
“Aly…” he said making her snap out of her little trance. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, don’t worry. I just spaced out a little bit.” She replied.
“Aly…”he said using the nickname her friends used for her.
Alyson frowned. Why was he nervous? She knew he wasn’t a very sociable guy but they had a lot of trust on each other and she had never seen him that way.
“You know you can tell me anything Nick” she said putting her hand on his shoulder. He moved his eyes and stares right into hers. The only thing she could thing about in that moment was just how mesmerizing and captivating his eyes were.
“Well, you know…” he started. “I have never been good expressing myself and that is why I do it through my song. But the thing is I don’t have a song to describe this, so I’ll just do this”
“Do what?” she asked unsure and before she realized it his lips were on hers. He hold her face close to his with his hands on her cheeks, stroking them with his thumbs. The kiss started as something sweet but soon turned in one much heated, both of the pouring their hearts out on it. Alyson couldn’t really believe it, she was kissing him. And if she had any doubt before she could definitely tell she was in love with the boy kissing her at the moment.
After a couple of minutes both realized oxygen was necessary and they pulled away finding themselves right in front of each other and not knowing what to say.
“What had just happened?” asked the brunette girl still a little out of breath.
She didn’t want to get her hopes up and later watch them all fall when he told her he made a mistake.
“Well…” laughed Nick nervously. “ I think I just kissed you.”
Alyson rolled her eyes. “No way” she wanted to scream but decided against it.
“I mean” she took a deep breath “Where does this leave us?” she asked a little afraid of the answer.
“Well,” the boy in front of her cleared his throat. It had been a while since he had like someone like this. The last girl was Miley and look how it ended. Not that Nick thought Alyson could do the type of thing Miley did, neither did her hold a grunge against his ex-girlfriend, for what he knew Alyson was a good girl and all he had for Miley were kind words about their long relationship but, he didn’t want to take things fast with Alyson and end with his heart broken again. “You see Aly, maybe you don’t feel the same way but I like you, a lot actually,” in that exact moment Alyson’s face lit up. He likes me, a lot, she thought.
“You make me feel…” he searched for the right words. “…normal” he finished the sentence.
Alyson stared at him confused, normal? What did that mean? When he saw the look on Alyson’s face and he realized she didn’t understand, he explained his words.
“I am 16 years old Alyson, you know that right?” the girl in question nodded “And I am living in a world where all that matters it’s the money, the fame, glamour…And I love performing and I love singing but sometimes, I need to feel like a normal 16 years old guy. I need to hang out with my friends without being chased by paparazzi, I need to have time form myself, I need to go out with girls…” he said looking at Alyson.
“And what does it have to do with me?” the 15 years old girl asked Nick. “I mean…where do I fit in all this?”
“You, Alyson Stoner, you make me feel like I want to feel” he answered smiling.
“And how do you wanna feel?”
“Like an normal teenager” he said while taking her petite hand on his. “You care about me Aly, you ask me what movie I want to see, what song I want to hear, you take in consideration my opinion and that’s something no one has done in a while” he finished his speech with a very big smile on his face.
Alyson was speechless. That was the sweetest thing she had heard apart from the movies she always saw with her girl friends.
“And you said you weren’t good with words, Jonas” she said after a few minutes of silence making them both laugh. When they both stopped laughing Alyson turned serious again.
“But you haven’t answer one of my questions.”
“What is it?” said the curly haired boy confused. “I made a pretty long speech enough to solve all your questions”
“My unresolved question is: Where does this leave us?” she asked him again. “Are we just friends or something more, did you just kiss me because I make you feel like a `normal teenage boy´?” she said quoting his words.
Nick started to get closer to Alyson again until his lips were brushing her ear. “Why don’t I show you what I want us to be?” Nick whispered on her ear sending shivers to Alyson’s spine. He started making his way with his lips to her mouth, kissing her jaw line and her cheek until he reached her lips He started slowly until he felt responding to the kiss, then he asked for entrance on her mouth with his tongue and finally she opened her mouth letting him in. Alyson was scared, she had never kiss a guy like that. Yeah, had have a couple of boyfriends and she had kissed but not like she was kissing Nick at that moment. They pulled apart after some minutes, both of the breathless.
“Does this answer your question now?” he said stroking her hair.
She smiled. Nick really liked her, Nick Jonas really liked her.
“So…” Alyson said looking at him. “Is this official, I mean are WE official?”
He looked at her and pecked her lips. “Do you want us to be official?”
“It’s up to you” she shrugged.
“Then future Mrs. Nick Jonas WE are official” he said. Alyson giggled. They started laughing for no reason, both of them happy as they haven’t been in a long time.
Suddenly, the back door opened and Nick’s older brother and Alyson’s best friend appear.
“Here they are” said Demi “See I told you Joe” she said smacking the 19 years old boy on the back of his head. “And you said they were kidnapped”
“Well that was a cooler theory than them being on the back yard” he said sticking his tongue out.
“Guys…” said Alyson’s boyfriend, always the mature one. “What do you want?” he asked.
“Well bro, we wanted to know where you were but we can see you guys are busy” he said smirking when he saw how close they were. Alyson started blushing like crazy and Demi giggled.
“Good job, man” said Joe “You finally got the girl” he said patting his younger brother shoulder.
“Yeah, well I’m least I’m man enough to recognized I like her” Nick said looking back and forth between his brother and Demi.
Joe and Demi both started blushing and avoid looking at each other, Alyson tried to contain her laugh as she watched Demi say “I have to go” as she went back inside the party with Joe walking behind her looking at the floor.
When they were nowhere to be seen Alyson started laughing.
“That was mean Nick” she said in between laughs.
“Yeah but they deserve it” Nick shrugged. “I mean, c’mon are they the only ones who can’t see they are meant for each other?”
“Yep, you’re right.” Alyson agreed as she started calming down. When she stopped laughing completely she found Nick looking at her smiling.
While they were gazing into each other’s eyes a slow song started playing on the background.
“Dance with me?” asked Nick extending his hand for Alyson to take it.
She took it and Nick pulled her close.
She placed her head on Nick’s chest and he rested his head on hers with his cheek on her head and he inhaling the sweet scene of her shampoo. They were dancing really slow at the beat of the music while Nick hummed softly the words of the song into her ear.
And there dancing with Nick Jonas in the middle of a backyard with the moon above them shining, a single thought ran through Alyson Stoner’s mind: “Best Party Ever”
