In other news, tools is a good class for many reasons. Yesterday I spent an insane ammount of time lathing my second hammer handle, and it's FUN. So of course I was showing it off to people who I thought would be interested, which brought Frances, Johnathan, and Nancy into the room after they got back from climbing. We sat around in there chatting, and at some point Meg walked by and was like "oh, there are people here!" and wandered in to chat. Then Ben did the same thing. Apparently eventually the lounge was empty, and my room had about 10 people in it. It was great! It meant I didn't get a whole lot done, but it was totally worth it. And now I have a message from Karen that I don't understand written on an index card left under my chinese book...
