Cyst's here again....sigh!

Apr 06, 2005 16:11

it does seems like i only update my lj with bad news....had abdominal pains since last friday and suspecting that the cyst may be back, i did an ultrascan yesterday. was told the cyst is 4cm in diameter this time round. unfortuately, i overheard my gynae muttering "ovarian cyst ah?" to herself and felt a keen sense of dread there and then. as usual ( Read more... )

What has E done to you?? You look like you have lost plenty of weight yourself. LOL.

Sorry to hear about the cysts. Best to have them removed isn't it?

hehe....she's my princess and her wishes are all my commands! ;p actually, i only lost 1 kg and could be due to all the bringing and fetching E to and from school + housework + compromised meals....

well, yesterday i was pretty upset when i learnt the cyst is back. but after talking to my sis, i realised that it's really better to remove it once and for all. i'm hoping it will shrink and disappear by itself though....

hehe....not yet anyway. it's very easy to slip into auntie mode becos, either i'm at home, near E's school, at the market or my mum hse..the good thing is, i see the SAHA almost everyday, so it's like a reminder to me...heh~

after my cyst encounters, i realised the importance of going for regular checkups, esp for married ladies with kids. u too must remember your pap smears and mammogram...oops! i haven't got my mammogram yet.....aiyaya~

We should be getting pap smears every few years, but mammograms aren't recommended for women of average risk until they hit 40. I think you're safe for quite a few years....

maybe the gynaes in SG are more kiasu...i see my gynae yearly for pap smear and ultrasound. mammograms is after 40 though, but becos my sis removed a lump in her breast some years back and so, i got to be more vigilant...:((

yes, if the bloody thing dun shrink by itself or after some BC pills, then i got to go for an operation to take it out for analysis (to check for carcinogents). i really hope i can avoid surgery altogether...:((

this is my dh's dream job!! he's been eyeing this job for the longest time and i'm really glad that he made it. i just hope he can hang on to this job for the next 20 years....:D

this is the 2nd round and i hope the last. if these cysts are hormonal in nature, then it's likely to come again and again...sigh!

ya, i'm hoping that their company benefit is soooo good that none of the management team will move their butt! well, good luck for your dh's dream job. so got chance to be SAHM after that? ;))

no way~! how can you be a SAHA when you dun look it? ok, i describe the SAHA upstairs...she's got shoulder length frizzy permed hair, a pair of urm...1980s glasses, wears oversized T-shirts and shorts, and a pair of gold dangling earrings (shudders)....enuff said i think. u SAHA? not in another 10 years! ;p

i do think i lack the motivation to dress up better whenever i stepped out of the house. what for? nobody's looking what....sometimes, i see working women looking sharp and chic in their work clothes and i started to tell myself that i need to snap out of this 'casual mode' but then, sigh.....!
