I am so sorry. Thank you for your eulogy, which was wonderful to read.

The sad thing about bonding with cats is that we know we'll have to make hard decisions and say good bye some day. It's worth it, though.

Mitz was fortunate to have found you, and to have spent his life with you.

Thanks Cris. We had a good life together. The decision wasn't hard at all. It's just that it came on relatively suddenly and he was in severe pain. Whole thing sucks. There's such a big void now.....

I'm so sorry to hear!

It's easier said than done, but try not to beat yourself up too hard about the day. Dan and I went through something similiar with Tucker in that we weren't home for him when we should have been, so I know how much that can bruise your heart. Try to think about all the good memories instead, which it sounds like you have in abundance.

Thank you Heather. I'm trying not to beat myself up about it but it comes easily. Yesterday was hard going back into the house and seeing where he dragged himself around before I got home. It just sucks that he was suffering so much and I didn't get to him sooner.
But yeah, there were lots of good times; I miss him terribly.

Thanks Shannon. Went through some early pictures of him yesterday. Such a wonderful kitty.
