Of Covered Bridges and Rural Indiana

Friday of last week I took the day off from work and headed out to Parke County in western Indiana. Each October they have the Covered Bridge Festival in towns throughout the county. I've never seen anything like it, the covered bridges and you posting in the morning :P

Just my sort of food.

I love the purchase, can you put a lamp or candle inside the glass?

Yes, the little lighthouse section is made to have a candle in it. However, my brother and I want to see if we can come up with a way to put something battery-powered in there.

The festival is great fun. It's down-home Americana at it's best.

Just a simple battery and bulb would work. LED's would be best as they are more environmentally friendly and last longer, use less power etc...
