One of the things I love about infrastructure is how it is practically invisible. I love the modular datacenter. It takes "never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes" to a whole new level.

I talked to this girl once at Death Guild cuz she was cute, and she said she worked as a secretary at a shipping container company. I asked if you could buy a shipping container for residential use, à la Snow Crash or that X-Files episode written by William Gibson, and she said that there was an architect who was doing that, but it was pretty expensive ($150K).
