As the weather gets warmer, the flight time gets bigger. Tonight I did my first night flight and it was so cool. Andy and I took off one hour after sunset and flew the pattern about a dozen times. Today I did my first solo cross country and it rocked!! Flew a total of 140 miles from Kalamazoo to Muskegon and back. It was one beautiful day!! I flew at 3,500 ft there and 4,500 back but at about that altitude the haze was pretty thick. I had a pretty hard time locating the airport but the good ole GPS helped me out on that one. Well, I finally found a way to handle the huge workload I have had for the past two months. Friday, after flying the 737 Sim I headed on home for the first time in a while. As of 12 hours I will be home in Monroe to see my lady and to see my family and I cant wait. It has been awhile since I have been home and the time has come to where I actually have money to go. So I finally completed my first cross country on Sunday. Andy and I flew up to Greenville which is about 60 miles north of Kalamazoo, so a 120 mile flight all together.
