My bad. I forgot Musemuggers isn't wide open. The prompt was for a poem appropriate for a science fiction poetry contest. My pitiful effort:

Another You

The song says there will never be another
you, but you and I know better, don't we?
Tile and metal reflect the painful glare
of clinic lights in points on your pale flesh
as you lay on the table with the bullet in your brain.
They tell me you don't know anything now,
but I know and I think that you know, too
and in time, this other you will know as well.
