Major Crimes? Not so much. The whole concept of running the division to get plea bargains may be close to reality, but it is not what viewers want to see. We want to see crooks get caught, or tricked into confession. We don't want them to get deals ( Read more... )

They have made her bland in trying to transition her from antagonist to sympathetic protagonist, and I agree that it's not really working. This pains me greatly, as I really want the show to do well (and want to love watching it!). The writing was killing me, especially at the end there. I don't have a problem per se with the new focus of the procedural aspect of the show, and I like the guy playing the assistant DA, but that scene with the suspect, the attorney, the ADA, Julio going "pow pow pow," Sharon making pouty thoughtful face, Provenza about to flip his shit, and whomever the hell else was in there, was...not great.

I hope the show does improve! *worries bottom lip*

Now sitting in the computer room rewatching Dr. Who on Netflix. Sadly, Billie Piper is making these guys look bad.

Major Crimes has one more week, and then, Mary or no, I'm going to bail.
