So, I thought I'd post a Smut!Update.
How's it going?
Well first off, it was going PANTS. And I mean that in the Wallace and Gromit sense of the word, so don't get any ideas... ;)
Initially, I tried writing a PWP Moment In Time kind of piece, but then I stopped myself I thought about how much I hate reading PWP's where the sole aim is quite

Seriously, though, I agree with you. If werewolves could pass it on to their kids, Fenrir wouldn't need to go around biting kids to make his army. He could just hang out in his forest (safer for him than lurking around places where people live) and boink all the female werewolves and produce werepups. The glitch in this plan is that I think he's gay.
I'd love to see a realistic older!R/T fic with realistic pregnancy. And hot sex.

As for your werepups... You have sinned, my dear. You should repent while there's still time! ;)

I wrote werepup!fic, too. However, in mine, Mundungus Fletcher switched out the ingredients for St. Mungo's-issue Contraceptive Potion with olive oil and oregano, and sold off the real goods in Knockturn Alley for profit, and Tonks gets knocked up and then pukes. A lot. And she gets hitched to Remus in a Wandpoint Wedding and Umbridge fires her and puts out a warrant for Remus's arrest because he's a half-breed and corrupting the minds of youth. But it all works out for our valiant, morning-sick heroes (well, one of 'em is morning-sick, and the other just has that whole messy transformation thing once a month).
The end.
OH THE FLUFF! Brush your teeth after reading!!!!!
That said, I think your idea sounds awesome, and I can't wait to read it. Cheers, babe! I'm so glad it's going well. :D
Love, LB

For the record, I have actually read a fic (though I can't remember where) where R/T babies could morph at will, rather like the baby in The Incredibles... it was tres disturbing...

I agree with your arguments. I don't think Lycanthropy is inherited, I do think the man has commitment issues (but not in the stereotypical way, you know?) and it is difficult to create a believable situation without being horribly cliche.
I can't wait to read your ficlet- you're an amazing writer and I'm happy you achieved some of your writing aims and happy about the potential of a sequel too!
Good luck!
Amy

And I think no-one but you could do that plotline and actually make it work. Go for it! ;)
